PLANET FOOD ON THE MENU OF BBC TWO'S
AUTUMN SCHEDULE |

 Pilot Productions, the award-winning UK based producer of travel and adventure programming has collaborated with the BBC in signing a 10 X 30’ deal for Planet Food, it was announced today by Lucy Hockey, Head of Sales at Pilot Productions.
Produced by Pilot Productions, Planet Food (10 X 30’ or 10 X 52’) takes the viewer on a culinary journey through countries renowned for the richness and diversity of their cuisine. Along the way our chefs meet knowledgeable and entertaining characters who initiate them into the local diet and its customs.

 As well as sampling delicious dishes and local specialities, our food-loving hosts, Merilees Parker, Padma Lakshmi, Ben O’Donoghue and Tyler Florence, prepare mouth-watering meals and get involved in the rituals and celebrations focused around each dish and its recipes.

 The show which will now be aired on Sunday mornings on BBC 2 for a ten week run, is in its second series and covers the delicacies of places such as Brazil, Mexico, Thailand and Morocco, to name but a few.
