To experience Venice in a completely different light, Justine stays on a boat!  It’s more fun and economical than many of Venice’s hotels.  She explores the Venetian lagoon and the Brenta River on the boat; parts of which would be difficult to get to if she didn’t have her boat.  No licence needed – just a quick lesson in steering and then she’s free to navigate the same channels in the lagoon as the public vaporetti and locals’ boats.  She has to be careful to avoid the Grand Canal though!
