| |
|
Pilot Productions, the award-winning UK based producer of travel and adventure programming unveils its latest production, World Café Asia, at this year’s MIPCOM, it was announced today by Ian Cross, Managing Director.
Hosted by Hanoi-based Chinese American, Bobby Chinn, World Café Asia is co produced with Discovery International.
World Café Asia (13 X 26’) is a stylish fast paced show which uncovers the recipes, history and culture behind some of Asia’s most famous street foods. As well as sampling the delights themselves, Hanoi’s most innovative chef explores one of the main cornerstones of Asian life as he brings to the screens an exciting and informative new show.
Bobby Chinn, a restauranteur and once stand-up comedian, travels to 13 destinations across Asia, visiting the markets, hanging out in the hippest nightspots and demonstrates his culinary expertise on some delicious, interesting and sometimes downright strange street food.
Destinations in the first series include Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Bali, Singapore, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo. |
