PILOT PRODUCTIONS DISHES UP SERIES 3 OF PLANET FOOD |

 Pilot Productions, the award-winning UK based producer of travel and adventure programming has secured the commission of the third series for its acclaimed show Planet Food, it was announced today by Managing Director Ian Cross.
Planet Food (3 x 52’), currently airing on BBC2, takes the viewer on a culinary journey through countries renowned for the richness and diversity of their cuisine. Along the way our chef meets knowledgeable and entertaining characters who initiate her into the local diet and its customs.
 As well as sampling delicious dishes and local specialities, our food-loving host, Merilees Parker prepares mouth-watering meals and gets involved in the rituals and celebrations focused around each dish and its recipes.
The new series which covers Greece, Russia and England, will start production in the summer of 2007, and will be ready for delivery early in 2008.
