About Pilot

Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily lie in the Mediterranean west of Italy as stepping stones between Europe and Africa.
Sicily is a spectacular land of golden wheat, rocky coasts, rugged mountains and fiercely independent people. It's beautiful shores have inspired poets and authors throughout the ages. Like its most famous landmark, Mount Etna, Sicily borders on the explosive. It is a patch work of western cultures, and the place to learn about ancient, medieval and baroque architecture.

Tourists have long been attracted to Sardinia's magnificent beauty, pure white sand beaches with secluded coves and epic caves, rugged cliffs, dramatic coastlines, and a clear, shimmering sea.

Corsica's history of attack and settlement has done nothing to quench the fierce independence of the island, which fuses aspects of France and Italy yet is truly Corsican. Beautiful, unspoilt and old-fashioned, with white sands, mountainous cliffs and transparent waters, Corsica is a perfect getaway destination, filled with baroque churches, Genoese fortresses, fervent Catholic rituals and its own language and cuisine.
