By stretch limo
If bus travel starts to get to you, try a Sherut. These
are usually stretch Mercedes which can fit up to 7 people.
They travel between cities at a pre-fixed price and, if full,
they cost roughly the same as a bus.
Into Egypt
The UN corridor which separates Egypt from Israel is just
200 metres wide. You must take a bus across that corridor
into Israel to show your passport, then expect a several hour
wait at the other side in passport security. You must pay
6 sheqels which is $2 or £1.50 to get onto a large empty
bus which took 30 seconds to cross the little road into Egypt.
