Mt. Buffalo National Park on the Victoria / New South Wales
border is home to one of the few mountain ranges in Australia.
Also known as 'the island in the sky', it covers 31,000 hectares
of wilderness, rocky outcrops, rivers and waterfalls and is
a favorite destination for skiiers during the winter months.
During the summer there's fantastic hang-gliding, swimming,
climbing and canoeing options for outdoor enthusiasts.
Oneof the best ways to see as much of the park as you can
is to join a horse-trekking expedition. So saddle up and leave
your worries behind mate!
