South Australia

South Australia

Bordering four other Australian states and one territory, South Australia is one of the most naturally beautiful parts of the country. With its population heavily centred in its capital and largest city Adelaide, much of the state is sparsely populated. The state was established with the goal of being a haven for immigrants and their various cultures. While this wasnt entirely successful, the state is regarded as being one of the most liberal and tolerant parts of the country. With a working class history, the state is known for being one of Australias most culturally and politically progressive. In modern times, the state is known for its vast vineyards as the countrys main exporter of wine.
