New Episodes?!

Hello all!

I've just been wondering some people are saying that we can actually expect new episodes of World Cafe Asia or a new show featuring Bobby Chinn is this true? Does anyone know something about this?

We're filming 5 additional episodes right now:

Malacca
Jakarta
Manila
Dacca
Sri Lanka

With possibly another 3 to follow.

Not sure yet as the shows are still being edited - probably February/March 2009 plus Discovery will air as of September 2009.

Can I ask something. The thing is, I just switched to Travel Chan (Central Europe) and on it is Planet Food with Bobby Chinn, what?!? So the new episodes are actually for Planet Food not World Cafe Asia?

Nope the new episodes are for World Cafe Asia. There's also a new show in production called Bobby Chinn Cooks Asia which is currently being filmed in China (crews got back yesterday).

This is awesome, btw when can we expect the new World Cafe Asia series here in Europe? Discovery T&L needs a good show right about now since it currently has nothing good on it Smile

Don't know but will find out. I'll also check with Bobby whether he'd like to do another web chat this Spring. Last one was fun!

The answer is - thus far WCA series 2 will be broadcast by AB Groupe in France, Belgium, Switzerland and francophone Africa. The series has just come out of production so expect to see on more Euro channels in the near future.
