Hello. I was watching PG last night with that delightful Megan McCormick. At the end when this webpage flashed on the screen I decided to come on and see if she had a bio. I then proceeded to look up Canada...it is my country and I wanted to see what kind of information was given. I have to say that I was quite disappointed. I hope this doesn't sound like I am trying to be rude but it was quite poorly done.
My grammar/spelling is terrible at the best of times but I noted that the articles were just poorly written and had no flow. I also noted things that are either out of date or just plain incorrect.
1. What jumped out at me first was the mention of Canadian Airlines and their domestic service. This airline no longer exists. 5 years gone.
2. While rail service in Canada isn't quite what is used to be, there is still wonderful service from coast to coast.
3. We now have 10 provinces and THREE territories. The third territory, Nunavut, was created in 1999. It is mentioned on one page but not referred to at all on another.
4. Similar to #3, Canada has provinces and territories...not states.
5. Population is no longer 27 million.
6. Unless it is refering to land area, Montreal IS NOT the largest francophone city in the world.
7. Quite a bit more actually but I havent the time at the moment.
I guess to someone not from here it all wouldn't be noticed. But as a Canadian it all jumped out and hit me in the face.
Thanks for listening.
ETA: I was thinking about these 2 pages inparticular::

| Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. I'm from Canada, and took great pleasure in updating the content today. It should be up to date by the end of the week. Thanks again. |

Donnie, thank you for your reply.
I am glad you saw the problems with the article. I have to say that if I wasn't Canadian, the article wouldn't make me want to visit.
We are a very proud people and I look forward to seeing the updated information.
Please get rid of the info about PEI shutting down before midnight. Yes, we are a rural province but we are pretty active past closing time. And Charlottetown and Summerside have a great nightlife with theatre, pubs and bars, cafes, shops and restaurants.
I am from PEI. Lived in New Brunswick and travelled and have a huge famly base in NS, NFLD and LAB, Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba. When doing your article if you have any specific questions then please ask. I;ve been watching these programmes for years.....I'd be happy to give whatever bits of help I can.
thanks again |

| A fellow Islander! I actually left the line in about the place shutting down before midnight. My reasoning was that the only thing to do after that time is go to one of the very few bars worth visiting. Restaurants, concerts, attractions, they're all long gone by the time midnight rolls around. When the updated content comes out you may feel PEI was served an injustice, but take solace in that fact it was done by someone who spent the first twenty two years of their life desperate for something to do after midnight in Charlottetown. |

Wow. There are only about 140,000 of us. what are the odds of finding and another Islander here?!
I guess I'll have to live with it. But as someone who rarely makes it home before 3am I will be taking issue. That Gahan House-Olde Dublin-St. James Gate Triangle really sucks you in. |

Hey guys - another Islander here, from Summerside area!
Pilot Guides totally needs to do a show on Atlantic Canada! There would be so much to show! |
