Thanks Futzevogel. Lazareth is a fantail goldfish and he is over 3.5 years old. I got him a new tank earlier this year because his old tank was much to small for him. He's definately a cute fish and whenever he gets hungry, he'll suck up rocks from the bottom and then spit them out at the glass so we can hear him. When I turn on the lights, he knows that means, "Feeding time!".
Lazareth is in two of my YouTube videos if you would like to see more of him:
Lazareth (when he was younger): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8653SsGTDM

Take care,

Ah, I'm sure you'll upgrade to a new camera at some point I didn't even own a camera when I was 16.

OK, OK ... here's the house dog, Odin, at the South Mountain Reservation digging for chipmunks ...
And here he is at home ...
I'll post some of our cat, Pus, some time ... |

Oh yeah, we took Odin on the drive cross country (cross continent) to Alaska last year, arriving in North Pole just about this time of the fall season.
He loved the journey up. I flew him back. he was happy to see me when I got him out at Newark's airport. But Alaska Airlines takes excellent care of animals ... they have a lot of experience. Alaskans fly their pets all over. |

Odin thanks you.
I let him have as many chipmunks as he wants when he is out with me. But then I used to hunt varmints with my dog when I was a farm boy growing up in northern Minnesota.
My friends don't let him have any ... they walk him more than I do these days. |

glindquist, I have this sorta... dislike against you! Dunno how that came (*clearing throat) but it was just there suddenly! |
It's OK ... I raised a pet calf every year on our dairy farm north of Duluth in the late 40's, early 50's. We used to butcher it as soon as it was big enough ... for our winter meat.
I personally don't hunt anymore ... but mostly because I don't need the meat for food and I am too old to be dragging moose quarters out of the bogs. But I fish. Of course fishing is one thing, catching 'em is something else.
Lots of differences in the wide world. I don't send Odin after chipmunks, he does that all on his own. I simply let him be free to do so. My friends don't. They keep him on a tighter leash.
Here's another picture of him ... with me in Dawson Creek, BC, Canada ... on our trip north last fall.
As you can see by now, I have a fairly "standard" travel "uniform" ... blue jeans and denim shirt.
In case anyone is interested, my whole photo set on flickr is at:

Here's Pus ...
She's not supposed to be on the table ... of course.
Another thing, she hunts field mice and birds ... bringing her trophy kills home for display.
You can access my photos (no Pus trophies, by the way) on flickr at:
