Hello,
I'm really interested in visiting Chile. Who's been? And what are your experiences? What can i expect?

I only stayed in Santiago a few days so I can't say much. But you should know to bring warm clothes if you go in July. During the day, you'll be fine outside with the sun shinning. But at night, it's really freezing, especially indoors! The thing is, they don't have central heating systems like we do... We rented a room in a private home and the lady would turn on the heat around 7pm (a small private heater that looked like a barbecue...). By 8pm, we would have to tell her to turn it off because we couldn't breath with all the gas in the room...
We had fun though! Freeze to death or sufficate...
I can also tell you that the people are very nice and that the subway is very cheap and efficient... |

| I talked about going to Chile for years to see the southern constellations. I ended up going to Australia instead. |
