Pilot Productions, the world’s biggest independent television producer of travel related programmes, has announced the launch of a new website to showcase its library of programmes.
The website, which can be found at www.pilotguides.com and www.globetrekkertv.com, features hundreds of clips from its vast travel archive, which can be accessed either free or through its Pay Per View platform at www.youtube.com/user/pilotguides

The new site also features more in-depth pages featuring Pilot’s popular team of presenters, and sections devoted to travel articles, blogs and sale of Pilot’s popular DVD, book and music CD products.
Pilot is best known for its signature travel show: Globe Trekker, which has been in production for 20 years, and airs to a global audience of approximately ten million viewers. Pilot also produces the food and travel series, Planet Food and World Café, the outdoor series, Treks in a Wild World, the travel and architecture series, Metropolis, the objects of desire show, Bazaar, and historic series, Historic Walks and Short History of the World. All these series have dedicated micro sites within the website.
