CARABU (Nutmeg Salad)

Ingredients:

• 10 Sweet nutmegs, sliced thinly
• 10 Mint leaves, chopped coarsely
• 12 Coriander leaves, chopped coarsely
• 3 Red chillies
• 2 Small green chillies
• 4 Shallots
• 1 Cucumber
• 1 Carrot – shredded
• 1 Tablespoon of sour plum sauce
• 1 Tablespoon of sesame oil
• 1 Tablespon fish sauce
• 2 Limes
• 2 Teaspoon of sugar

Method:

1. Mix the fish sauce, sesame oil, plum sauce, sugar and limes in a mixing bowl. Mix well

2. Slice finely – coriander leaves, red chillies, shallots, cucumber, carrot, green chillies and lime leaves.

3. Add the slice nutmegs into the salas

4. Mix all the ingredients in the sauce and mix well.
