Bobby Chinn meets up with fellow chef Jereme Leung in Shanghai. Together they cook Stir-Fried Hairy Crab with Ginger Egg Custard – one of the signature dishes of Jeremy’s restaurant and testimony to the new face of Chinese cuisine that is clearly evident in Shanghai.
The next morning Bobby adds a fusion touch to a typical breakfast snack - Jian Bing - before trying it out on the locals.
He also visits the picturesque Xi Tang water village where he finds the perfect steamed fish dish.
He winds up his trip by exploring the Wu Jiang Lu night market in search of a late night supper.
