Ibiz Roma
There are some lovely designs in this shop and everything is made in the workshop next door, so you can have anything made to measure. They only use the best hides that are tanned as only the Italians know how!

Ibiz Roma
Artigianato in Cuoio
Via dei Chiavari, 39
Tel & Fax – 00 39 06 68 30 7297
Antonio the cobbler
Via Basento, 34

If your shoes need a complete makeover go to Antonio, but don’t phone – he doesn’t have one – go in person. If you ask for a business card, he will point to your shoes and say ‘everyone walks out of here with business cards on their feet’.

All around the Spanish steps and the Piazza di Spagna, the Via Condotti, Via Borgognona and Via Babuino, you will find more designer clothes than you can shake a very beautiful and expensive stick at.

For clothes that you don’t have to take out a second mortgage out to buy, try the Via Nazionale and the Via del Corso.

Mario Bianchetti
Via della Pigna, 18
