July 4th, Independence Day
The United States of America’s National Day, commemorating one of America’s key founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, which was dated and widely believed to be signed on the date of July 4th 1776. The Declaration of Independence freed America from the colonial rule of the monarch of Great Britain. Bastille Day is the national day of France. It is the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress on July 14th 1789, where revolutionaries, many of whom were simply disgruntled merchants and craftsmen, seized control of the fortress. 50 years since Apollo 11
Apollo 11th launched on July 16th 1969 and landed on the moon on July 20th with Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong aboard. They came back to earth on the 24th July 1969 following a successful mission. The Pan American games are held every four years the year before the summer Olympic games. This year is the Pan American games 18th event, and Peru’s first international event of this size. lima. 41 nations from North America, south america, central america, the caribbean and the pacific join the games July 26- August 11 in Lima.
