Hollywood Forever Cemetery is a historic cemetery, funeral home, and cultural event center in Los Angeles, California, known for being the final resting place for numerous Hollywood legends and for hosting community events like outdoor movie screenings.

Starting in 1769, Spain built a chain of 21 missions across the length of Alta California—from San Diego to Sonoma—as a way of gaining a foothold in the new frontier.

The Spanish built 21 missions in California in the second half of the 18th century when the state was part of New Spain.

They say they make everything bigger in the US and the description applies to everything from trucks to food portions… And in the city of Los Angeles it also applies to some of the city’s public storage units.
