St. Lucia

St. Lucia

The spectacularly beautiful islands of St. LuciaMartinique and Montserrat encompass a fusion of English, African, French, and Indian culture. Dotted with volcanoes, lush with tropical rainforest, surrounded by turquoise oceans teeming with marine life – the Caribbean Islands are a destination not to be missed!

St. Lucia changed hands between the French and the English 14 times giving it a unique perspective on these 2 colonising powers. Once an important part of the slave trade route, remnants of this era can be seen at the Pigeon Island Fort and the Fond d’Or sugar mill ruins. Travelling down to Soufrière you witness the awe-inspiring site of the twin Pitons and take your chances climbing them!
