Merrilees Parker

In the food TV world, Merrilees Parker is renowned for “Anything You Can Cook” a 27-part BBC2 cookery series which she co-presented with Brian Merilees ParkerTurner in 1999. She was also the resident cook in “House Call” shown on BBC1 in the UK throughout January 2001.

Merrilees is a passionate foodie and went through her “on-the-job” training as Chef at The Lansdowne in Primrose Hill, London. Here she developed her own style of no-nonsense food, earning The Lansdowne rave review for its menu.

Since 1996 Merrliees as worked in TV production with Ainsley Harriott, Tony Tobin and many of the “Ready Steady Cook” presenters.

Merrilees is a key figure in the consultancy team for Antony Worrall-Tompson‘s restaurants and she has also been the Head Chef at The Greyhound in Sonning Common, whilst working with Antony on a range food projects including live events at London Fashion Week and cookery demonstrations at the Mosimann Academy.

Merrilees speaks fluent French and divides her time between the UK and France, occupied in her premier passion of food.
